Grand Cypress

Grand Cypress was a very nice resort. It is a golf and spa resort. The room was a large, clean and a great view of one of the three golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus. There were several lakes with canoes and paddle boats to ride, with a beach front. The main pool is heated year round, it had a giant water slide, wooden bridge to walk over, caves and caverns to swim through, with a connecting hot tub and a poolside restaurant. Jogging trails, walking trails and bike trails. There several restaurants on the grounds, we ate at the White Horse Bar and Grill. Not sure why they named it that, but there was a statue of a white horse next to our table. I had the special Prime Rib, which was marinated for 10hrs, said the waiter and Donna had the Kobe burger, which she loved. There were free shuttles to all theme parks, if requested, and room service was 24hrs.

Con: Club King Suite room did not have a fridge, it had a pay extra wet bar though. Other rooms were either 1 Bedroom or 2 Bedroom, which had full kitchens, we did not stay in one of those, this time.

Great place, highly recommended. Grand Cypress.
