Things I thought were odd, funny or different:
- roads were very narrow
- cars were very small
- sales tax was 19%
- 1gal of Reg gas was $5E
- plastic bags at grocery stores had to be paid for by the customers, $.6E
- highways had no lights
- no speed limits, unless posted
- all beers were sold in 1liter bottles
- pre-packaged marinated meats sold in grocery stores were very, very salty
- free to air satellite was showing Air Wolf
- free to air satellite did not censor shows, cussing was allowed and so was bare breasts
