Well, my first 3-day adventure is over! It was the most amazing, inspirational and exhausting weekend ever. Day 1 and 2 I seemed to be floating on air. Thanks to the cheers from our supporters the 42 miles completed on those two days went by quickly and effortlessly. A special thanks to Jimmy, Sharon, Ron, Shannon and the entire Hackbarth family for coming out and handing out ice, drinks and, most importantly, hugs and smiles to keep me motivated. Jimmy also took many pictures and even some video over the 3 days.

Day 3 was a tough one for me as I lost my dear friend Ana Saturday night. She was my reason for participating in this walk this year and I certainly carried her on my shoulders all the way through the finish line. Although my heart was heavy Sunday, it gave me even more of a inspiration to walk and continue to raise awareness so that we can find a cure.
Because of your generosity, and the support of all of my donors, I raised $2,405 to help end breast cancer. I couldn’t have done it without you! And I certainly couldn’t have done it without my wonderful team, Bikers4Boobs / BRA, and our fearless leader, Evi Green!
Thank you again for supporting my participation in the Breast Cancer 3-Day. It was an incredible 60-mile journey and I have so many wonderful memories. Thank you for making this possible. Maybe next year, you can join me! For more information about the 3-Day and Susan G. Komen for the Cure, visit www.The3Day.org.
Love,
Donna
